Privacy policy

Effective date: October 13, 2026. This version adds a second, separate and optional box for occasional offer texts to our text messaging program.

Sunny Builders Group (“we”, “us”) is a remodeling contractor in San Diego, California. This policy explains what this website collects, how we use it, and your choices. Questions or requests can go to info@sunnybuildersgroupsd.com or (858) 888-1725.

What we collect

Information you give us. When you request a consultation, use a cost calculator, or call, text or email us: your name, phone number, email address, project details and, if you choose, your property address.

Information collected automatically. Like most websites, we collect device and usage information: your device type, operating system, browser and language, the pages you visit, how you arrived (for example from a search engine, an ad or another website, including campaign tags and ad-click codes in the link), and how you use the site. Some of this is kept in your browser’s local storage and is attached to your request only if you send one. Our servers also log IP addresses and browser details for security and troubleshooting.

How we use it

To respond to your request and schedule your consultation, prepare quotes and provide our services, learn which pages and marketing bring us customers, improve the site, prevent spam and fraud, and meet legal obligations. When you send a request or contact us, we may reply about your project by phone or email, and by text message only if you agreed to texts; you can ask us to stop at any time.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information or give it to others for their own marketing. Service providers that help run our website and business, such as hosting and security, analytics, email and messaging, spam protection and advertising services, process it on our behalf. We may also disclose information when the law requires it, to protect our rights or safety, or as part of a sale of the business. No mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. Information sharing to subcontractors in support services, such as customer service, is permitted. All other use case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

Text messages

We text you only if you tick a box on our form agreeing to texts. There are two separate, optional boxes: one for project updates and one for offers and tips. We send only the kind of texts the boxes you ticked cover. When you tick a box, we keep a record of that consent: the date and time, the wording you agreed to, the page, and your IP address and browser. Reply STOP to any of our texts to opt out, or HELP for help; see our SMS terms.

Google tools and Do Not Track

Unless your browser sends a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal, our site loads Google Analytics, which uses cookies to collect device and usage information and may collect information about your activity on this and other websites over time. Our videos play from YouTube, also a Google service, which can do the same once you press play. You can read how Google uses this information at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites. If your browser does send one of those signals, we do not load Google Analytics or keep the browser record described above, and a request you send carries only what you enter, your device type and the page you sent it from (plus the text-message consent record above, if you opt in); our servers still keep the security logs described above. You can also block or delete cookies and site data in your browser settings.

Your choices

You can ask us what information we have about you, or ask us to correct or delete it, by emailing info@sunnybuildersgroupsd.com or calling (858) 888-1725. We respond to these requests whether or not a law requires us to, though we may keep records the law or a warranty requires. You can opt out of our marketing messages at any time.

Keeping information

We keep inquiry and customer records as long as we need them for our business, warranties and legal obligations, and server logs for a limited time. We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information, though no website is completely secure.

Children

This site is for homeowners and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16.

Changes to this policy

We will post any changes on this page with a new effective date, and note significant changes at the top of this policy.

Terms of use

Site content, photography and branding belong to or are licensed by Sunny Builders Group.

SMS terms

Text messaging program. Sunny Builders Group Design & Remodel sends text messages only to people who opt in by ticking a box on our website forms, and only the kind of texts each ticked box covers. There are two separate, optional boxes. Project updates: texts about your own consultation request, including appointment confirmations and reminders, project updates and quote follow-ups. Offers and tips: only if you tick this separate box, occasional marketing texts such as special offers and project ideas, up to 4 messages per month. Consent is not a condition of purchase. You must be 18 years of age or older to opt in.

Frequency and cost. Message frequency varies for project updates; offers and tips are up to 4 messages per month. Message and data rates may apply for messages we send you and messages you send us. For questions about your text or data plan, contact your wireless provider.

Opting out. You can cancel at any time by replying STOP to any of our texts. STOP ends all texts from this program, project updates and offers alike. We will send one message confirming that you are unsubscribed, and no more texts after that unless you sign up again. We also honor QUIT, END, REVOKE, OPT OUT, CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE and any other reasonable request, including by phone or email.

Carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Accessibility

We want every visitor to be able to use this site, and we build to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA: AA color contrast, keyboard-navigable menus and forms, a skip-to-content link, visible focus states, reduced-motion support, alternative text on images, and screen-reader landmarks throughout. New pages are checked against those criteria before they are published. Found something we missed?
