Privacy policy

Sunny Builders Group (“we”, “us”) is a San Diego, California remodeling contractor. This policy explains what information this website collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. Questions or requests about your information can go to info@sunnybuildersgroupsd.com or (858) 888-1725.

Information you give us

When you request a consultation, use a cost calculator, or contact us, we collect what you choose to share: your name, phone number, email address, the type of project you are planning, and, if you provide them, your property address and project details. If you call or text us, we collect the information you share in that conversation.

Information collected automatically

Our own site analytics records aggregate usage events, such as which pages are visited and which buttons are used. It does not build visitor profiles, and it respects your browser’s Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals. To count how many different people visit each day, it uses a one-way code made from your connection and browser that changes every day and is discarded once the day is over; it uses no cookies and cannot identify you or follow you from one day to the next. For security and troubleshooting, our servers and error logs may record your IP address, browser type, the pages you request, and timestamps; these logs are routinely deleted, typically within about 60 days unless needed for an investigation. Cookies and similar technologies are used to make the site work, to protect forms from spam, and, where third-party tools are in use, for analytics and advertising as described below.

How we use information

We use the information above to respond to your inquiry and schedule your consultation, prepare and deliver quotes and services, run and improve this website, market our own services, prevent spam and fraud, and meet legal and insurance obligations. When you submit a form or call us, you agree that we may contact you about your inquiry by phone, text message, or email; you can ask us to stop at any time.

Who we share information with

We do not sell your personal information. We share it with service providers who process it on our behalf so we can run the business, in categories such as: website hosting, content delivery and security (such as Cloudflare), website analytics (such as Google Analytics), email delivery, spam protection, advertising and marketing platforms, lead and customer management systems, and scheduling and communication tools. These providers may change over time, and they are only permitted to use your information to provide their services to us. We may also disclose information when the law requires it, to protect our rights or safety, or as part of a business transfer.

Analytics, cookies, and your tracking choices

We use analytics tools, including Google Analytics, to understand how visitors use the site. You can read how Google uses data from sites that use its services at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites. Third-party tools we use may set their own cookies and may collect information about your visits to this site and other websites over time; those tools may not respond to Do Not Track signals, though our own analytics does honor Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control. You can limit or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time.

Your choices and rights

You may ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by emailing info@sunnybuildersgroupsd.com. We honor reasonable requests and will respond to any request made through that address. You can opt out of marketing communications at any time.

Your California privacy rights

This policy is posted to satisfy the California Online Privacy Protection Act (CalOPPA): the sections above list the categories of information we collect and the categories of third parties we share it with, and describe how we respond to Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals. California residents may use the contact details above to request access to, correction of, or deletion of their information, and we honor verified requests whether or not a specific privacy law, such as the California Consumer Privacy Act, requires us to.

Retention and security

Project inquiries and customer records are kept for as long as we need them for business, warranty, and legal purposes. Security and error logs are kept for a short window as described above. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect your information, though no website or transmission method can be guaranteed 100% secure.

Children

This site is for homeowners and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

When we update this policy, we will post the new version on this page with a new effective date. If a change is material, we will say so here.

Accessibility

We want every visitor to be able to use this site, and we build to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA: AA color contrast, keyboard-navigable menus and forms, a skip-to-content link, visible focus states, reduced-motion support, alternative text on images, and screen-reader landmarks throughout.
